- I am an American who has lived in Australia, France, Mali, and Ghana, but I have never done anything quite like this. Never have I sold a house, sold a car, and put a house full of my life into storage to move my family overseas. I have a husband, preschooler and a toddler, and in 2007 we moved to Jakarta, Indonesia. This site reflects my experiences living in Indonesia.
